Gerflor has unveiled its new website – designed to make it easier for architects, specifiers, interior designers, contractors and customers to find exactly what they're looking for.
The vinyl and linoleum flooring specialist has added a range of search options, with users able to find products by named range; by type, such as for homogeneous, or safety; by end use, such as healthcare or retail; or by using the multi-criteria tool which automatically narrows the search as questions are answered.
An 'Interior Designer' function then shows the selected flooring in a variety of locations for a realistic portrayal of what it would look like in situ. A CAD service also offers the opportunity for architects and designers to download a specific texture and integrate into their own CAD software.
Users can also upload photographs of specific rooms to their personal account and the simulator will create images of that space with the specified flooring. Those images can then be saved, downloaded and emailed to the client.
